Tablet 4mg, 8mg +2

Indications

Adult Dosing

Acute muscle spasm (oral)

8 mg PO BD–TDS for 5–7 days

Short-term use only. Not recommended beyond 7 days.

Acute spasm (IM injection)

2 mg IM every 4–6 hours (max 8 mg/day) for up to 5 days

Switch to oral as soon as possible

Maximum daily dose: 24 mg/day (oral); 8 mg/day (IM)

Pediatric Dosing

Age Range: Not recommended in children
Dose: Not established — no paediatric indication

Contraindicated in children and adolescents due to genotoxicity concerns
