Indications
- GERD
- Peptic ulcer disease
- H. pylori eradication
- NSAID-induced ulcer prophylaxis
- Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
- Stress ulcer prophylaxis (ICU)
Adult Dosing
GERD/PUD
40 mg PO once daily before breakfast
4-8 weeks for healing
NSAID prophylaxis
20-40 mg PO once daily
IV (NPO patients)
40 mg IV once daily
H. pylori
40 mg BD with amoxicillin 1g BD + clarithromycin 500 mg BD × 14 days
