Indications
- Acute pain (musculoskeletal, post-operative)
- Osteoarthritis, RA
- Renal colic
- Migraine
- Dysmenorrhea
Adult Dosing
Pain/inflammation
50 mg PO TDS or 100 mg SR OD
Max 150 mg/day
Acute pain (IM)
75 mg IM stat, may repeat after 30 min
Topical
2-4g gel applied to affected area BD-QID
Pediatric Dosing
Generally avoided in younger children — paracetamol/ibuprofen preferred.
Renal Dose Adjustment
