Chronic asthma (controller)

Adult Dosing

Mild-moderate asthma

200-800 mcg/day inhaled, divided BD

Severe asthma

Up to 1600-2000 mcg/day

Acute exacerbation (nebulised)

0.5-2 mg neb BD

Pediatric Dosing

Age Range: >6 months

Dose: 6m-5y: 0.25-0.5 mg neb BD; >5y: 100-400 mcg inhaled BD
