Indications
- Secondary prevention of MI/stroke
- Acute coronary syndrome (loading 300mg)
- Post-PCI/CABG
- Atrial fibrillation (alternative if anticoagulant contraindicated — limited)
- Migraine (high dose)
- Kawasaki disease (children)
Adult Dosing
Cardiovascular prevention
75-150 mg PO once daily
Lifelong
Acute MI/stroke
300 mg loading, then 75 mg/day
Pain/fever (rare modern use)
300-900 mg every 4-6 hours; max 4g/day
Pediatric Dosing
Do not use for fever/pain in children with viral illness
