- Streptococcal pharyngitis

Adult Dosing
Most infections
500 mg PO every 8 hours
5-10 days
Strep pharyngitis
500 mg PO BD
10 days
H. pylori (triple therapy)
1 g PO BD
14 days with PPI + clarithromycin
Endocarditis prophylaxis
2 g PO single dose
1 hour before procedure
Pediatric Dosing
High dose 80-90 mg/kg/day for AOM in regions with PCN-resistant pneumococcus
